Truly. Another billion years and even more has transpired and it's time for our biannual update of the website. For now the Soundfiles are being taken out (ISP space is more limited than it used to be). But not much else has changed. Greyhaven is still asleep, although we thank all y'all who still email us with a good word! Ethan is now going solo with Echo Us, and Brian and Nick are putting finishing touches on their project. IF anyone is actually reading this - email us and let us know!

Well now. It's been a billion, billion years since this site was updated. Much has transpired - and expired as well. Powermad came and went, Ethan and Matt began working on a side project, Brian also had a side project and moved back to the west coast, and Nick took and extended trip to Europe. The band determined to meet again in one year to decide whether or not to pursue all the new material they had worked on for the previous year (some of which was debuted at Powermad). Since then, it appears that Greyhaven has taken an extended slumber, from which it may not awake. Ethan and Matt continue to work on their own project "Echo Us," while Brian has written a prog rock epic called "Solitary Dream" and will soon collaborate with Nick (who's in Europe) for it's completion.
Musicians and fans know that this kind of thing happens. But they also know that sometimes bands get back together after a long absence and are stronger for it. Here's to hoping that the members of Greyhaven someday remember why they did it in the first place, and will endeavor to pursue it together.
All that being said, the face of this site will change to reflect the new work being done by some of the members. It will still include Greyhaven's information and sound files.

Well, it's been a billion years since our last update. Sorry for the wait! Powermad was a hoot, and it seems like most people had a grand time. We'll put up a couple pics on the pictures page, just to prove we were there 'n all. Unfortunately, we're not planning any shows in the near future. Also, our credit card processing ability has been removed temporarily, until we can set up a new one - drat. We now suggest you go through the Laser's Edge or Amazon, although it's cheaper through the former.

OK. We know - it's been a while since the last update. Rest assured our penitence has been swift and painful. July 28th saw the first show with our current lineup. Speaking of which, we've got an interim keyboard player in the form of one Matt E. Cahoon. Matt is a fellow student of Ethan's at Berklee, a great player, and an all 'round swell guy. The show was fun but short, and a good time was had by all.
In other news, we'll be playing the PowerMad festival in Baltimore, MD (Aug. 18-20). And while it's still a great mystery as to when and on which day we're actually going to play, we're still looking forward to it, and hopefully seeing lots of y'all there. We're planning on balancing out the setlist with a few album tracks plus some new material that we're pretty excited about. Yep.
Honest Injun, there are other interviews and reviews to put up, it's just a matter of time and mental resources (what?).

Well, finally it's out! Ra ra ra! Our first album has been released and should be available all over the place soon. We'll let you know exactly how to get it online when that's all set up. Shortly, we'll have a bunch to sell here in the states, so we'll be sure to let you know how to grab one! Thanks to everyone for their patience and support. It won't be long now until, you, the much appreciated consumer, will have one (or more!) for your very own!
Look for some interviews and reviews and stuff to be added as soon as we get 'em.
Also, we ammend the previous keyboardist ad (below) because, let's be honest folks, we were asking a lot! Greyhaven requires: keyboardist/synthesist to re-complete full line-up. Greyhaven is a band now signed to Angular Records of Germany with their first full length CD being released on Feb. 28th, 2000. Music can be described as a synthesiser oriented rock/progressive/ambient hybrid with an emphasis on melodic content and atmospheric sound propulsion. You can be described as an idealistic but eclectic trained keyboardist that has extreme knowledge/usage of the following:

Ok, here we are with the new site! We hope you dig it. As noted below, we're about a month away from release, so be sure to check in with us for the best place to spend your hard earned mula! It will be available worldwide (except for the states, which we'll hopefully set up a way to order it online). In other news, we're working on new material (and man is there a lot of it!) which we're very excited about. We should have something ready around late summer, stay tuned.

Happy New year! February 28, 2000 has been confirmed by Greyhaven's label as the release date for their debut album "Greyhaven". This will probably also mark the last update of this site. Greyhaven's new website will be up within weeks and will have tons of great stuff and information. Go to Angular Records' site to find out more as well. Only one month to go until release. Thanks to all the fans who supported Greyhaven in getting this album out!

Happy Helloween to all those out there. Greyhaven has officially signed with Angular Records of Germany (now called Rect-Angular). Greyhaven will be joining the ranks of fellow artists Eternity-X, Valediction, and others. Greyhaven is quite pleased and hopes to have a lasting quality relationship with Angualar. On the slight downside, release has been pushed back until early 2000. But hey, that's only about 3 months away! Greyhaven will publish the exact release date when it has been determined. It's coming!!!

The time until release draws short! Greyhaven has finished (for real this time!) their debut album. Contract negotiations are now at a close and Greyhaven will soon join the roster of artists at a very respected record label (to be named after all legalities are dealt with). Release is being planned for around Early December. Stay tuned for more news (it will come soon!).

Sincere apologies for the lack of updates to the page. Many have emailed with well justified questions about the latest with Greyhaven. Fortunately, times are beginning to improve for the band. Summer writing sessions have yielded an hour and a half of new music. Contract negotiations are also in full swing with an as yet unnamed label (more soon). The debut album should be in stores by December. A complete revamp of this page is also scheduled to occur to coincide with the album release. Greyhaven would like to give a heartfelt thanks to all those who have shown such interest and know that the whole project is moving forward!

Well, there is still not much to report as of late. Greyhaven continues to work on their album, now putting on the finishing touches. Greyhaven expects to get many things worked out by the end of next month. After finishing this semester of school, Greyhaven will begin work on writing for their next release.

OK, OK, the page hasn't been updated for awhile. But, that has changed! Many have emailed and requested the latest on Greyhaven, so here it is. Yes, Greyhaven will be realeasing a CD this year. Some delays have been encountered but it's all for the better. Greyhaven is utilizing this time to fine tune their album. A label signing is also on the very near horizon (more about that later). The release date is set for sometime in the Summer/Early Fall of '99. We apologize for the delay but rest assured that it will be worth it. More samples will come shortly as well as a massive renovation of this page. Keep posted here for further updates (more frequently this time, I promise!).

Final work and editing on the Greyhaven album is now in progress. Samples are being made and should be up in a week. Release is planned for sometime before the first of 1999. Greyhaven's location has now changed. If you want a demo, check the contact page for the new address.
August 16, 1998
After months of slaving in the studio, Greyhaven has completed their self titled debut album! Release is planned for some time in the next few months. More info at a later date. The CD will contain over an hour of music and eight songs. Track listings, sound samples, and lyrics will be posted soon!
June 21, 1998
With basic tracks completed on all songs, all that remains is solos and vocals. Then its off to mixing and mastering. Greyhaven's first release is nearing completion and should contain some great music. Greyhaven recently took their studios remote to record on a beautiful Steinway piano to be featured on a few songs. It won't be long now!

After months of looking and weeks of negotiatating,
Greyhaven now has a vocalist!! Greyhaven is joined by
Brian Francis who will be cutting the tracks for the
vocals and hopefully performing live with the band. This
amazing vocal talent complements Greyhaven's ehtereal
sound and completes the lineup. Recording is going well
in DakStudios for Greyhaven. Most basic tracks on four
of the songs have been put down. Sound samples coming
soon!

Greyhaven has just finished tracking the drums
for their upcoming debut full length CD. As soon as the
drum editing is done, recording will begin on other instruments.

Happy new Year to all!! The start of the new
year brings Greyhaven just that much closer to completing
their debut full length CD. The album is as yet, unnamed.
Recording begins in mid February and should take two
or three months. Please continue to check the page for

Greyhaven is mostly in the process of writing new material at this point which is getting more technical as well as more diverse with more subtleties at the same time. The vocalist search is still going on and may until a change of locale for the band happens somtime in '97-'98. Tapes are now avialiable. Email greyhaven@havenweb.com for further information. Greyhaven will continue to find a following thru the 'net as they are currently making contacts.
